The black figures in the story. Currently, the anime “Yakusoku no Inu” is being heavily broadcasted. Among the various characters in Yakusoku no Inu, I find the 4 black figures in the story particularly intriguing. So far, there have been powerful antagonists and black figures appearing in front of Maomao and Jinshi one after another. However, the question is whether there are any bright and powerful black figures or potential final bosses that will stand in the way of Maomao and Jinshi. Therefore, this time, I would like to evaluate and focus on these 4 figures: Emperor Anshi, Arudhi Bayan Comparison, Karaka, and Khulan Charahan. Please note that this article includes spoilers up to Volume 2 of the original work of Yakusoku no Inu, so if you haven’t watched it yet, please make sure to close the video here. So let’s dive into it. First, in Yakusoku no Inu, in the previous and latest volumes, there have been black figures like the mentor and Ryou Seito appearing. It is a promise in Yakusoku no Inu that these black figures play an active role as antagonists and then exit the story. However, it was revealed in the latest volume, Volume 2 of the Shiori arc, that Uji, the elder brother of Riyo, who had appeared since the Shio arc in the web version, was a black figure. From this, it can be speculated that even in Yakusoku no Inu, it is possible that the characters who have already appeared may continue to act as black figures. The twist that a character who was thought to be an ally turns out to be a black figure is common in manga and anime. For example, the author Higana-sensei once posted a post celebrating the release of the 12th volume of “Juuni Kokuki,” in which a story was depicted where a general who was a subordinate of the king betrays the country and causes chaos. In this article, I will evaluate the 4 potential black figures in Yakusoku no Inu based on the following five criteria. The first criterion is whether the person has a clear purpose for opposing Maomao and Jinshi. The second criterion is whether there have been any indications in the past that this person is in opposition to Maomao and Jinshi, or what actions they have taken for their own purposes. The third criterion is the ability to execute. It is very important to evaluate what abilities this person has to achieve their goals, whether it be power or status, and how they will stand up to Maomao and the others. The fourth criterion is the person’s character image. Yakusoku no Inu is a mystery story that requires a logical narrative. Therefore, it is unlikely that a character who has been good until now suddenly starts to take reckless actions. Therefore, I will evaluate whether the person who becomes a black figure has been depicted as a certain type of character so far and whether they are suitable as a final boss. Finally, the fifth criterion is whether the person has the presence of a final boss as the greatest enemy of the story. As a matter of course, a black figure needs to have a certain aura as a final boss. Therefore, when considering who is likely to become the final boss, it is important to evaluate whether this person has the core as a final boss. Based on these five criteria, I will try to predict who the black figure in Yakusoku no Inu is. Let’s see what happens next. We can’t let you have your way. For starters, you should be the person who is training to be the Emperor, the pinnacle of the great country of Ri. Shinhyou is a black figure who has the clear purpose of making the person who is training to be the next Emperor his successor. On the other hand, Jinshi has stated that he does not aspire to become the Emperor. There have been portrayals of Jinshi refusing to become the next Emperor, and this conflict between the Emperor and Jinshi could have a significant impact on the story. In fact, Jinshi has been pretending to be an obedient pupil to manage the situation and make sure a new child of the Emperor is born. This suggests that the desire to make the person who is training to be the next Emperor his successor is the crux of the story in Yakusoku no Inu. The Flug: Currently, the potential successors to the throne are the Emperor’s younger brother, Jinshi, and the Emperor’s son, Dong. These three characters have been introduced in the story, and in the novels, it is mentioned that the political impact would change depending on whether the Emperor’s son or grandson becomes the Emperor. Naturally, the family and household of Jinshi and the nobles who support him would prefer someone with a closer blood relation to ascend to the throne, as this would allow them to maintain their power. Furthermore, for Jinshi himself, there is a strong desire to make the Emperor’s son his successor, as he sees this as a way to fulfill the old promise between the Emperor and Arudhi. On the other hand, the Emperor has made it clear that if his son were to become the Emperor while still a child, there would be concerns about his safety, as children are more susceptible to illness and accidents compared to adults. This concern is depicted in the story, where the first child of Rifa had died as a result of poisoning. From this, we can see that the Emperor and Arudhi have two main reasons for wanting the Emperor’s son to succeed him. The first reason is that the current heir is still young. It is mentioned several times in the story that children, no matter how cherished they are, are more prone to illness and accidents, increasing the possibility of something unfortunate happening to the child who is currently the heir to the throne. The second reason is the old promise between the Emperor and Arudhi. In the early days of the tunic, Arudhi was reluctant to become the Emperor’s servant and wanted to be his mother instead. This indicates that he wanted his own child to become the next Emperor. In response, the Emperor readily agreed to Arudhi’s request. Furthermore, in the novels, it is revealed that during their time in the tunic, the Emperor declared that he had no intention of paying attention to anyone other than Arudhi. The fact that the Emperor has a strong desire to fulfill the promise with Arudhi is evident. Additionally, in Volume 8 of the novels, when Jinshi argues that he doesn’t want to become the Emperor, the Emperor becomes furious, which is a stark contrast to his usual easygoing demeanor. This suggests that even if Jinshi insists that he doesn’t want to become the Emperor, his request to be relieved of his status as a member of the imperial family could pose a significant problem. Despite the Emperor’s anger, Jinshi still insists on his request to be relieved of his status as a member of the imperial family. This interaction highlights the Emperor’s strong determination to make Jinshi the next Emperor, as he clenches his fist in frustration. From these portrayals of the Emperor, it becomes clear that Jinshi becoming the next Emperor is not something that can be easily given up. Rather, it seems that it is an absolute necessity for the Emperor to make Jinshi the next Emperor. Will you curse the gate as well? Then let’s move on to Asan. As for Asan, there is a clear purpose for opposing Jinshi and the Emperor, which is to make her own child the next Emperor. In Volume 2 of the novels, Asan is described as being willing to take extreme measures to ensure the safety of her child, such as intruding into the territory of the poisonous flower and bearing the burden of an exorbitant price even though she was initially a subordinate of the poisonous flower. This suggests that Asan has a strong desire to make her own child the next Emperor. However, there is no indication that Asan wants to make Jinshi’s child the next Emperor. In Volume 8 of the novels, it is mentioned that Asan is keeping her distance from Jinshi and the others. Therefore, it can be inferred that Asan’s desire to make her own child the next Emperor cannot be easily given up, and she may continue to secretly work towards achieving this goal. Now, on to Kala Kya. Kala Kya is a senior poison master, and her purpose for opposing Jinshi and the Emperor is not clear. There haven’t been any indications in the story that she is in direct opposition to Jinshi and the Emperor or what actions she has taken for her own purposes. However, it is worth noting that she is a close associate of Asan and has a strong connection to the poisonous flower. Therefore, it is possible that in the future, Kala Kya may become an antagonist to Jinshi and the Emperor due to her association with Asan. Lastly, there is Rakuran. Rakuran is Maomao’s grandfather and one of the former high-ranking poison masters. He is deeply infatuated with Maomao and has demonstrated his animosity towards Jinshi, often referring to him as a zombie or an insect. However, Rakuran has also shown moments of acknowledging Jinshi, such as praising his skills during an evaluation session and becoming familiar with his face. Additionally, in recent volumes of the novels, Rakuran has taken on a more comical role, being scolded by Maomao and often being on the receiving end of punishments. This indicates that Rakuran has settled into a more light-hearted and comedic position rather than being a serious antagonist. Considering these factors, it is unlikely that Rakuran will become a major black figure in the story. In conclusion, based on the evaluation of the five criteria, the Emperor and Asan have the highest potential to become major black figures in Yakusoku no Inu. Kala Kya and Rakuran have lower potential to become black figures, but they may still play significant roles in the story. However, it is important to note that this analysis is speculative, and the true black figures in Yakusoku no Inu may be different from what has been discussed.
